Theresa Hill
Associate Clinical Social Worker
I am an experienced Associate Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years in the field of
Social Work, including five years dedicated to Clinical Social Work. My passion for the field stems from a deep curiosity about human relationships, resilience, and the complexities of joy, hope, loss, and grief.
My professional journey has been profoundly shaped by my personal experience as an adoptive parent, which fueled my interest in attachment, mental health, trauma, and behavioral dynamics. To deepen my expertise, I have completed specialized adoption competency training through two different courses and am trained in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and both beginning and advanced Sand Tray Therapy.
With a compassionate and holistic approach, I work with children, youth, and adults, providing trauma-informed care that fosters healing and growth. My dedication to supporting individuals and families reflects both my professional expertise and personal understanding of the challenges and strengths within the adoptive constellation.
When I am is supporting children, youth, and families, I enjoy spending time with my own family, the outdoors, photography, and scrapbooking the memories made with friends and family—including the four-legged members of the household, two cats and a German Shepherd. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and growth.
